The Louis Poulsen FJ Elements table lamp is one of the few designs designed by one of Denmark's most renowned architects, Finn Juhl (1912–1989). Originally designed in 1963, the pendant and table lamp were reintroduced in 2025 as the FJ Elements model, including the original two-tone grey version.
The name of the lamp comes from Finn Juhl's hand-drawn sketches, in which he described it as consisting of "elements". These early drawings document the shape, proportions and concept of the lamp for the entire series, as well as its overall structure. Although the materials and geometric lines of the FJ Elements model stand out for their simplicity, playful creativity is evident in the way the upper shade can be rotated around the lower shade. This function allows the direction of the light to be directed in many ways, while also changing the appearance of the lamp.
