The Muuto Pair candleholder is creatively designed from anodized aluminum. The ingenious design language offers space for two crown candles, but also the possibility of effortlessly combining two or more candleholders from the same series. This way you are free to play with different colors, heights and compose the whole according to your own taste and space. Of course, the Pair candle holder also works as a single piece, making it a discreet and sophisticated eye-catcher on any tabletop.

Lars Tornøe, who designed the Pair candleholder, says that in the early stages of the design, he was fascinated by the idea of a simple, one-piece shape that could hold four candles. The starting point was clean and clear – the shape resembled the letter X when viewed from above.

However, as the work progressed, the designer decided to take the idea one step further. Tornøe wanted to divide the X-shape into two separate parts, making the whole even more visually interesting and offering a completely new kind of versatility. The final Pair candleholder became modular – its parts can be combined in different ways, allowing for individual expression and personal composition.
