The Form & Refine Shoemaker bar stool has been part of the Danish craft tradition since 1936 and is still made by local craftsmen in Denmark today. Each seat is made from a single piece of solid wood, making each chair unique, as the wood grain pattern naturally varies from piece to piece.

The design of the bar stool is based on the traditions and experimentation of Nordic design. Its turned legs and T-shaped crossbar for added stability create a balanced and visually pleasing whole. Although the structure may seem simple, it requires special skills - the wood must be handled with great care and shaped precisely to ensure the best possible seating comfort.

Each bar stool is finished by hand at the end of the process before undergoing a three-step stain or oil treatment, which gives the surface a durable and beautiful finish.
