The Matri story began in 1986 in Perniö, when Martti Lehtonen, a factory worker from Perniö, and his wife Anja began making furniture for their own home. Even today, Matri beds are manufactured in Matri's own factory exclusively from European, certified materials, in order to take good care of everyone's health and nature.

Matri's wide range has everything you need for your bedroom. Whether it's a bed, a bedspread, a bedside table or a bench, you can find it in many different sizes and colors. Matri beds have also won several awards. The German consumer organization Stiftung Warentest awarded Matri beds the best in the "Health and Environment" category.
