Matri's story began in 1986 in Perniö, when Martti Lehtonen, a factory worker from Perniö, together with his wife Anja, started tinkering with furniture for their own home. Even today, Matri beds are manufactured in Matri's own factory exclusively from European, certified materials, in order to take good care of everyone's health and nature.
Matri's wide selection has everything you need for the bedroom. Whether it's a bed, a bedspread, a bedside table or a bench, you can find it in several different sizes and colors. Matri's beds have also been awarded several times. The German consumer organization Stiftung Warentest awarded Matri's beds as the best in the "Health and Environment" series. In the fall 2016 test, the Aurea bed was the test winner and received special praise for its durability.
