Poiat is a Helsinki-based architecture and design office founded in 2010, which designs furniture in addition to private and public spaces. Poiat office launched its own furniture collection in 2014, the Lavitta series is already sold in more than ten countries around the world. The founders Antti Rouhunkoski and Timo Mikkonen have a simple design philosophy based on creating a strong atmosphere and vision. In their thinking, aesthetics can sometimes even trump functionality if something simply feels good.
