Muoto Collection – A furniture brand born in Lahti and rooted in Finnish design
The starting point of the Finnish Muoto Collection has been to combine design, manufacturing and product development under one roof. Founded in 2010 by two designers, Kirsi Pasanen and Mikko Kenta, the company was the first design agency to have its own production. The company started operations under the name Muoto2, where the number 2 reflected the number of entrepreneurs.
In 2023, the company ceased its own manufacturing in Lahti and began operations with licensed manufacturers. At the same time, the company's name changed to Muoto Collection.
Muoto Collection has a strong commitment to sustainability, ecology and responsibility in all its production processes. The brand's product range includes various furniture, kitchenware, coat racks and shelves. Some of the most well-known products are the Laine sideboards, Kiekko clocks and Primus dining tables. Pasanen and Kenta's design emphasizes minimalist aesthetics, natural materials and practicality. That is why all Muoto Collection products are designed to last over time, both physically and in terms of design.
