The Annex table's round and sturdy legs are made of solid oak. A plywood top rests on the four legs, creating a graceful overall look for the table. The material choices and dimensions have been considered so that the table can be easily adapted to different sized spaces and different needs. The available sizes and shapes allow it to be used in both small home kitchens and large conference rooms.

The table was designed by John Tree, a British product and furniture designer based in London. His work combines innovation, practicality and carefully considered design. Tree founded his own design studio in 2016, and since then his work has focused on exploring and utilizing industrial manufacturing methods in new and unprejudiced ways. Tree designs a wide range of furniture suitable for public spaces as well as furniture for home use, lighting, interior accessories and even electronics.

The Annex table is a perfect example of John Tree's design philosophy: he strives to create clean lines, high quality and longevity - with personality and visual interest. The esteemed Tree's creations have been featured in numerous international design publications and he has received several prestigious design awards, confirming his position as one of the significant designers of his generation.

In collaboration with the HAY brand, John Tree has created several collections that reflect his uncompromising design vision. These include the Apex and Cupola lighting collections and, most recently, the versatile Annex table series.

HAY – Sustainable and creative solutions

HAY was founded in 2002 and already had a furniture collection in the same year. The fast-paced start was not reflected in the products, as they were of uncompromisingly high quality from the very beginning. HAY's answer to an ever-changing world is thought-provoking furniture that is so creative and sustainable that it does not need to be pushed aside. HAY looks back with great respect to the golden age of Danish modernism, when quality and craftsmanship brought the entire country to international awareness. HAY collaborates with the biggest designers in the industry as well as young newcomers. In 2013, HAY launched its sister brand Wrong for HAY. In its simplicity, it is the manifestation of a fruitful collaboration between renowned designer Sebastian Wrong and HAY. Wrong designs some of HAY’s most daring products and also seeks out new, special designers under the brand, who, through their fresh perspectives, keep HAY constantly edgy.
