The FDB Møbler M12 Sammen bench is designed to complement the Sammen series of outdoor furniture, but it also works as an independent element, for example on a balcony, in the garden or at the entrance. The handiwork of Danish designer Thomas E. Alken can be seen in the bench's timeless and warm look.

The M12 bench is made of FSC-certified teak, which is naturally weather-resistant and will grey beautifully over time. Its smooth finish and simple lines make it a timeless addition to any outdoor space. The natural oiliness of the wood protects it from moisture and sunlight. If necessary, the surface can be treated with wood oil to maintain its appearance.

The bench's light look and meticulous craftsmanship make it both visually light and structurally strong. The seat is designed for comfort without additional padding, and the bench can be used as is or combined with other products in the Sammen series. The M12 bench is a perfect match for the M2 dining table in the Sammen series and offers a natural alternative to individual chairs. It comfortably seats 2-3 people.

FDB Møbler - sustainability first

Founded in 1942, Danish furniture brand FDB Møbler has a team of designers including renowned names such as Børge Mogensen, Poul Volther and Jørgen Bækmark. From the beginning, FDB Møbler's furniture has been durable, interesting and widely sold.

In the 1980s, the factory closed down and the designers sold their designs to other manufacturers, such as HAY. However, in 2013, a new opportunity opened up to get the FDB Møbler factory up and running, and in no time at all, the brand regained its great popularity. The prestigious company's collection still largely consists of the same classics as in the 1940s, but new products are also added to the range every year.

Today, the company aims to be the world's most sustainable design brand - and they are already the most sustainable in Denmark. All of FDB's textiles are Oeko-Tex certified, every wood used is FSC certified and an increasing number of products have also received the Nordic Swan label, better known as the Swan label in our country. A precise carbon footprint calculation of each product, as well as the entire group, is also underway.
