The &Tradition Flowerpot VP3 table lamp consists of a silhouette formed by two semicircles, which has retained its strength over time. The downward light of the Flowerpot VP3 table lamp is atmospherically beautiful and soft. The classic lamp designed by Verner Panton is suitable for many different spaces and interiors thanks to its design.
In 1968, students revolted in Paris, Rome and the United States to overthrow conservative, rigid values and usher in a Flower Power generation of peace, love and harmony. That same year, Stanley Kubrick depicted the future in his film 2001, which also featured Panto's chair. Shortly after, man first set foot on the moon.
Meanwhile, in the world of design, a colorful and playful lamp hung from the ceiling, first in restaurants, then in exhibitions - and eventually in everyone's homes. The Flowerpot lamp, formed by two semicircles, has proven the longevity of its design and at the same time acts as a synonym for our time.
Verner Panton will celebrate his centenary in 2026. To mark the anniversary, &Tradition has launched three vibrant new colors for Panton’s iconic Flowerpot lamp. The shades are inspired by Panton’s original color palette and were created in collaboration with Verner Panton Design AG. The new anniversary colors highlight the spirit of the era at the time they were designed, while also referencing an archive photo from the 1970s, where blue, white and orange lamps appear on the striking Flowerpot pendant lamps.
