Melaja's Moomin -themed lighting selection includes favorite characters created by Tove Jansson; Moomin, Niiskuneiti and Hattivatti. All figures are available as a 30 cm high table lamp and a 50 cm table / floor lamp. In addition, Muumipeikko has a spectacular, approximately one meter high floor lamp available, which is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The lamps are manufactured in Finland.

Melaja Oy is a family-owned company based in Riihimäki, Finland, specializing in rotationally molded plastic products. The company manufactures both industrial components and hand-finished interior lighting and design objects globally. Melaja combines over 30 years of experience in rotational molding with environmentally friendly, recyclable polyethylene plastics.

Melaja's most famous collaboration is with legendary designer Eero Aarnio, starting in 2003 with the Tupla Kupla lamp, and now expanding to include over 20 designer lamps and playful furniture such as Flamingo, Pony and Dino. The products are handmade in Riihimäki from the ground up, and have been awarded the Key Flag and Design from Finland labels.
