The Muuto Earnest extendable table represents a beautiful Scandinavian style. The timeless and practical table was designed by John Tree. He described the design of the table like this: "It's amazing to be able to make a table from one material, there's something really honest about it. The table is made in one place, from one material and with one process. Although the table is really simple, I've tried to create a visual look that speaks to the user."

The Muuto Earnest table is made of FSC™ certified solid oak. The table has sculptural curved legs and a clear light design language. It is possible to extend the table with separately purchased extension pieces, which can be placed on top of the supports that can be pulled out from the ends of the table. Six chairs fit comfortably around the Earnest table, and up to 10 when extended. In the extension pieces, the grain of the wood is deliberately in a different direction than in the top of the table itself, which gives the Earnest table a unique touch.

When you receive the table, we recommend treating it all over with wood oil suitable for oak. It is also good to oil 2-3 times a year, because as a genuine material, wood reacts to changes in air humidity, which can cause drying. With good care, a solid wood table can be a companion for decades.

Care instructions: Clean the tabletop often and carefully with a soft, dry cloth according to the grain pattern of the wood. Never leave the table wet. Wipe up stains immediately to prevent them from absorbing into the table surface. In addition to moisture, avoid heat and direct sunlight. We recommend using coasters and tablets to protect the table.
