The Artek DL81C folding table is the result of Alvar Aalto's design work from the 1930s. The compact table is perfect as a dining table for two or three people in compact kitchens. If necessary, you can get additional space on the table by raising the flap part. It stays firmly up with the support tree under the cover, which can be easily slid into place. The DL81C table made of Finnish birch is both naturally beautiful and warm, but also a beautifully patinated piece of furniture.

The tables designed by Alvar Aalto are united by a relaxed and familiar style that will stand the test of time. In accordance with the concept of multi-use, Aalto tables are suitable not only for homes but also for offices, agency buildings and meeting rooms. The DL81C folding table also uses the inventive L-leg. Already introduced in 1933, the L-leg is one of the most central components of Aalto's furniture - its development was also considered by Aalto to be his greatest achievement.
