The Andersen Furniture Plinth stool is a versatile oak stool designed by Swedish designer Martina Claesson, inspired by traditional wooden vaulting boxes used in gymnasiums. This familiar shape has been reinterpreted as a small piece of furniture for the home, combining a playful look with clear Scandinavian design.

Crafted from solid oak, the Plinth is designed to serve as a seat, a small side table, or a storage unit. The space beneath the seat provides open storage for items such as books, toys, and other small belongings. The stools can also be stacked on top of each other, saving space when not in use.

The Plinth is versatile enough for a living room, hallway, or children's room. The warm tone of the solid oak and the minimalist structure make the stool easy to combine with other furniture, while its inspiration from gymnastic equipment gives it a distinct, recognizable character. The maximum load is 100 kg.
