Fiam - Italian outdoor furniture design since 1975
Fiam’s success story began long ago when a young mechanic, Francesco Favagrossa, found his calling in what is now a highly fashionable field: recycling. He traveled around collecting motorcycles from the U.S. Army that were destined for scrapping, reassembling them into “motorcycle patchworks” that were often sold before they were even finished. In 1975, together with his sons Ennio and Silvio, he launched the first metal products designed for outdoor use. Still today, each Fiam product embodies the qualities that Francesco and his family have always strived for: clarity of form and practicality. These characteristics are embedded in Fiam’s DNA even before the products themselves, and it is thanks to these distinctive elements that Fiam's designs have received recognition and awards from the very beginning.
Intuition, refined methods, persistence, a continuous search for technical solutions, and a great deal of hard work form the foundation of a company that believes in uncompromising quality and fully Italian production. Nearly 50 years have passed, yet everything that mattered then still matters today. And if anything, Fiam now operates with even greater passion than ever before.
