"The summer weather is finally here and that means life is moving outside and onto the terrace, also here in our new home at Villa Louise , where we moved in the spring.
The terrace furniture naturally began to be built around our Fiam Fiesta sun loungers, representing timeless Italian design, which have traveled from our seven-year-old home to our new one. You wouldn't believe it, the high-quality chairs with aluminum construction are still like new, even though they have been used a lot over the years. Now the pair of chairs we bought earlier was completed with another similar padded Fiam Fiesta Soft pair in the same lovely shade of beige, as well as a Chico Soft ottoman . I can already see the chairs at the center of summer dinner parties, and these seats are the ones that, in my experience, are always taken first, even if a group of sofas comes next to it at some point, regardless of the age of the sitter. The stylish table to accompany the sunbeds is Fiam Tris , which I chose for us in black. Like the chairs, the table folds conveniently into a small space.
Why are we so fond of our Fiam Fiestas year after year? A wonderful design, with which you don't have to compromise on comfort to weigh more in our scale cup year after year. The back of the sun loungers can be easily adjusted to three different positions, which allows for a really reclining position, but also a slightly sharper position when you need one.
I don't wonder at all why these pieces of furniture, which entered the market in 1975, have conquered hearts all over the world. However, I wonder how Fiam is only now really landing in Finland - after all, quality, timelessness and practicality are qualities in furniture that we traditionally value as a nation.
